I have been away for a while, but I am back with a vengence Past RP experience: I am invovled in too many rpgs to put all the links, but most of them are here on IJ, one of which happens to be a multi fandom game, and several HP games, two of them I am a mod of. I have been rping since I was 16 and have vast experience. PART TWO Some of you have never done an app or are so paranoid that you need one to be present, just to fill it out. 1.Character Name: Rowena Ravenclaw 2.Age/Birthdate: there isn't one, but I am gonna say she was born sometime between 700-800 AD, probably born in the winter months like December 3.Wand: 9 3/4 inches cherrywood and dragon heartstring(I made one up since the lexicon didnt give one) 4.Bloodline: the lexicon doesn't say, but I am gonna guess that she is a pureblood 5.Why this character: In Harry Potter's world, the Founder's Era has always held my deep interest. I am not sure why, but the Founder's Era has been intrigueing to me.I often imagine what it must have been like to live back then and to witness Hogwarts being built and what not. Rowena Ravenclaw is the sort of character I imagine myself wanting to be most like. Ravenclaw is my favorite house in Harry Potter and learning what Rowena was like draws my attention. She was the most brilliant witch of her time, and not to mention she was smart and crafty. She handled herself with grace and sophistication, much like someone of Royalty. She is very intrigueing and wanting to play her is something I have wanted to do, but never had the oppertunity. 6.What is said about your character on the lexicon? If you changed canon facts, what did you change? On the lxicon it is said that she was the most brilliant witch of her time and may have come up with the ever changing floor plan at Hogwarts. Also she was known for her intelligence and creativity. 7.Look at the available/taken list and put which characters (at least ten names) that your character would interact or be familiar with: Godric Gryffindor,Helga Hufflepuff, Salazar Slytherin, Herpo the Foul,Albus Dumbledore, Gellert Grindelwald,Tom Riddle,Bloody Baron,Helena Ravenclaw 8.PB: Rachel Bilson 9.Sexual Orientation: Straight 10.Personality: Rowena is a very smart and intelligent witch. She has grown up knowing that education and learning is your best weapon that you can ever use. She loves a good debate and a lengthy conversation. She could spend hours imersed in a good conversation if she really wanted to. She holds herself high in the idea of knowing far more than most people, and her intelligence is greater than most. She often spends her time with her nose in a book, learning things that she has not learned yet. She may seem cool and collected on the outside, not really giving away her true emotions, but around those she knows and loves dearly, she shows her warm and caring side. She is loyal to her friends and family and will do almost anything for them. She is not one for violence of any kind, but she will not hesitate to hex someone if they really deserve it or threaten her family or friends. She is a giving and caring person, but she does have a bad side that is meant to stay hidden. 11.Family:There is not much given of her family, but I would imagine that she was extremely close to her family and close relatives that she lived with. There is no mention of siblings on the lexicon, so I assume that she was an only child and quite possibly her fathers favorite. There is no information on any husband, but she has a daughter,Helena Ravenclaw. Who the father may be is unkown,but I would think it is someone she was very close to, but decided not to marry. 12.Personal History: At least 2 to 3 Paragraphs. Born in the northern part of England, the only child to her parents, Rowena Ravenclaw took to learning and reading at a very young age, imersing herself in any sort of book she could lay her hands on. The more she read, the more she wanted to learn and share it with everyone else.When she was not reading, she was out in the country side with her dear friend, Helga Hufflepuff, who was her best friend and confidante. Witches and Wizards back then were very rare, and often treated with cruelty, so her findoing she was one, didn't suprise her nearly as much. Chance came when she and her friend Helga along side Godric Gryffindor, and Salazar Slytherin decided to build a school for wizards and witches whoshared the love of learning as they did, and with Rowena's creative ways, she came up with the ever changing floor plan and turned out to be very skilled in transfiguration and gave one of the four houses her name, Ravenclaw. With the other three founders, Rowena felt for the first time in her life she had a true family with people who she could trust with her very soul. It was as if she was sent to be part of their friendship as much as they were part of hers. But years later, Salazar decided to leave the school after an argument with Godric. Not knowing what it would lead to, Rowena felt like she lost part of herself when he left, and it was until she had her daughter, Helena, was when she felt she had something that was all hers. As she watched her daughter grow up, Rowena felt that things between her and the founders would never be the same again. hte departure of Salazar left the others feeling a sudden loss, and it was when Helena grew older, Rowena felt the need to show to her that she was more intelligent. Though mother and daughter cared deeply for each other, to Rowena it felt like Helena sought to make herself out more smarter than her mother, without even trying. Rowena felt everything she worked for was made for nothing each time her daughter made herself more intelligent and when she took sick, the only thing she wanted, was the love of her daughter she thought she knew. Desprate to see her daughter one more time, she sent the Baron to Helena. When she found she died, Rowena died inside. Nothing seemed to matter once Helena died and on the brink of death, Rowena wondered if she would ever get the chance to see her one last time, though she didnt know she would get that chance. 13.Samples. If you have a linkable log, that's fine to.</b> here is a sample of the first post I ever did as Rowena from another game: Rowena entered the Hall Rather breathlessly for she had been in the library reading over some books and completely lost track of time and it wasn't until she realized what time it was and made a mad dash to the Great Hall. Her midnight blue robes swished soflty as she ran a hand through her raven-black hair and nodded at Godric and flashed a smile at Helga. "Hello, Godric, Helga. This is odd isn't it? Me being later for a meeting than you Helga when I am ususally here first.Where is Salazar?" She said showing her she was only teasing 14.Who does your character support?(Voldemort, Goverment or Undecided) Definietly not Voldemort, so I think Rowena would support the Government or something else. | |||||||||
